This page explains in plain words what data we collect on 1bayt.az, why we need it and what you can do about it. If anything is still unclear after reading it, write to us on WhatsApp — we will answer and delete everything if you ask.
Who processes the data
1bayt.az development studio, Baku, Azerbaijan. You can reach us by phone at +994 99 303 03 02 or on WhatsApp.
What data we collect
Data from the brief form. Your name, a contact to reach you on (phone number, WhatsApp or Telegram), the type of task you picked, your rough budget and timeline, your comment if you wrote one, plus the address of the page the request was sent from and the site language you selected.
Technical data of the request. Along with the request we store the ad tags from the page address (utm), the browser name and a hash of your IP address — an irreversible string the address itself cannot be recovered from. It serves exactly one purpose: telling a live person from a bot so the form cannot be flooded with automated requests. We do not store the IP address itself.
Anonymous visit statistics. We use Vercel Analytics: it sets no cookies, builds no visitor profile and passes nothing to ad networks. We only see aggregate numbers — how many people opened a page, from which devices and which buttons they clicked.
We do not collect payment details, we do not ask for documents and we use no third-party advertising pixels.
Why we need this data
The only purpose is to answer your request: to get in touch, clarify the task, prepare a quote and open your dashboard. The anonymous statistics help us see which parts of the site are useful and improve them.
We do not send advertising to the contacts you leave and we do not add you to any mailing list unless you ask.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or hand your data to third parties. It does pass through the services the site cannot run without:
- Vercel — site hosting and form processing;
- a Postgres database — the request is stored there so it does not get lost;
- Telegram or an email delivery service — getting the request to our manager;
- WhatsApp — if you carry on the conversation in the messenger yourself.
Each of them handles data under its own rules, and we pass on only what is needed to deliver your request.
The project workspace
Once work starts, we open a project and give you a workspace for it — a page with stages, documents and invoices. Its link arrives in the same chat we already use, and it works instead of a password: it has an expiry date, we can revoke it at any moment, and the database holds not the link itself but an irreversible fingerprint of it.
The workspace shows only what we put there: work stages, links to documents, issued invoices and the project correspondence. Anything you write there reaches our team and is stored with the project. Projects live longer than requests — for as long as accounting and the warranty require.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for up to two years — that is how long a typical project lives, warranty period included. If we never ended up working together, we delete it sooner at your request. Anonymous statistics are stored in aggregate and are not tied to any individual.
Your rights
You can ask us to show what data of yours we hold, to correct it or to delete it entirely. Just write to us on WhatsApp from the same contact you left — we will do it within three business days and confirm.
Cookies
There are no advertising or tracking cookies on the site. We store exactly one thing in your browser — the interface language you chose, so you do not have to switch it again next time. You can clear that storage in your browser settings at any moment.
Changes
If the policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. Anything substantial that affects requests already sent will be communicated separately to the people concerned.
